Angela Thigpen, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, FNP-C
Angela Thigpen has worked directly with patients in the healthcare field for 29 years. She has provided multiple levels of nursing care to patients throughout the years. She spent several years in Critical Care and Heart Recovery setting, Infections Control, Surgical Services and Clinics at Woodland Heights. She has also had experience with Home Health in East Texas as well as burn care at both the University of Texas Medical Branch and Shriner's Burn hospital in Galveston, Texas.
Angela was born in Texas and raised in Tyler County. Angela obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. Angela received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches. Additionally she holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and English from Stephen F. Austin State University. She grew up in Chester, Texas and graduated from Chester High School with honors.
Angela enjoys the small-town pace of life and currently lives in Burke, Texas with her husband, daughter and multiple fur babies. She enjoys reading in her spare time, quilting, gardening, camping in the mountains, fishing and kayaking at the lake.
Angela is offering primary care services to patients of all ages. She is a certified nurse practitioner credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
