High blood pressure often has no symptoms and has been name the "silent killer" because it can lead to serious and life-threatening conditions. Will I need ECG, imaging and lab tests?
While labs test and imaging are not required, we recommend that everyone get a baseline. Depending on the results additional test might be required.
Do I need to be checked if I have a family history of hypertension?
We recommend that you get your blood pressure checked at least once a year.

There are several to include hypertension, Coronary Artery Disease, Congested heart failure, Irregular heartbeat, Peripheral Artery Disease just to name a few. Yes, we help manage these conditions and usually in conjunction with a cardiologist if the disease is severe.
What is an echo?
An "Echo" echocardiogram is an ultrasound machine that uses sound waves to produce images of your heart. It helps your doctor check if heart problems are the cause of your breathlessness, edema or chest pain.
Are echos painless or need any special preparations?
Echocardiograms are painless, involves few, if any risks and require no special preparations. You can eat, drink and take your medications as normal.
