Colin Kugelmann, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Colin Kugelmann is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He graduated from West Coast University in 2015. He threw himself head first into a Level 1 neuro trauma ICU nurse at the Mischer Neurosciences Institute at Memorial Hermann Hospital. It was through this experience that led him to become a Family Nurse Practitioner in order to be a part of the front lines to help prevent patients from reaching a state that would warrant a stay in the ICU. He aspired to help people become more proactive in their care and equip them with the knowledge and tools to live healthier lifestyles.

After receiving his Master of Science in Nursing Family Practitioner from the University of Texas Health Science Center, he began specializing in Peripheral Arterial Disease at PAD Specialists. His dedication to his patients and his team paved the way to the position of lead NP within a couple months. It was here that he found the calling to combat cardiovascular diseases to prevent life altering consequences.

PAD is a multifaceted disease that is largely untreated and underdiagnosed. The breadth and depth of this disease led him to seek greater understanding in the multi-systems of the body. He was compelled to go beyond a specialty and seek a holistic approach to healing the entire body. This is what brought him to Woodrome Medical PA: to see the bigger picture, to combat illnesses, and to better serve the great people of Polk County.
