Yvette Guerra, RN, MSN, FNP-C

Yvette Guerra is a bilingual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has over ten years experience practicing healthcare in the South Texas and Upper Gulf Coast area. She is a native Texan who was born and raised in South Texas. Yvette has had the privilege of practicing medicine among different age ranges, cultures, and settings throughout Texas. She has a wide range of experience including family medicine, women's health, family planning, personal injury, hospice, housecalls, ICU, rehabilitation and aesthetics.

Yvette received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M Corpus Christi and her Master of Science in Nursing from UT Health Science Center Houston. She has also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Science in Sociology. Yvette takes pride in her passion in rural healthcare and developing a relationship with her patients to create better health outcomes. Her passion is driven by the bonds she builds with her patients over the course of time and joy in helping them set their healthcare goals and needs.

During her spare time she enjoys traveling, working out, sea shelling, hiking, birding, wildlife photography and spending time with her dog.
