Lora Holt, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Lora Holt is a certified nurse practitioner credentialed by the American Association of nurse practitioners (AANP). She provides primary care to patients of all ages.

Lora began her career in 2006 as a registered nurse after graduating with honors from the Angelina College ADN program where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa national honor society. She began her nursing career in Lufkin, Texas at what is now Ch I St. Luke's as a critical care nurse in PCU and ICU. Lora has also worked in the critical access emergency room in San Augustine as an ER nurse and in other various ERs. During her nursing career, she has worked as a home health nurse and director of clinical services while at Texas Home Health.

Lora graduated with honors from Walden University with her master's in nursing. She then began her career as a nurse practitioner with UTMB with a focus on chronic conditions and men's health. In addition, she has worked in rural health and as a hospitalist. Lora has worked in orthopedics and urgent care, and she believes that these areas have prepared her to give the best care she can in the family care setting.

Lora grew up in San Augustine, Texas where she graduated from San Augustine high school with honors. She is a single mom with two grown sons and enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities, and traveling.
